Everything's Looking Brighter
Finally, we saw a good movie! On Saturday Courtney and I went out to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants- Chili's. One of the main reasons we go there is because my sister (Lacey, girlfriend of Uncle Josh) works there. While we were there, Christin and Josh (yes, the same as above) came in to eat also. We talked to them for a little bit and they recommended that we see Pirates of the Caribean. So, we called up our good friend Micah to see if she wanted to go with us. So, we all saw the matinee at the mall (just can't beat $2 for a movie). It was really good. I was a little nervous about going to see it- I'm not normally up for pirate movies, but this was very well done. It was over 2 1/2 hours long - but it certainly didn't feel like it. I know we are on the tail-end of the craze for this movie and that most of you have probably already seen it, but if you haven't- it is really very good and I highly recommend it. Very clean too.
It was definitely refreshing to see a good movie after a rather depressing movie week. Over the course of the last week we have rented 1 movie from Blockbuster, 3 from the Library and watched one at the Booth's. Out of the 5, only one was entertaining. It is called About Schmidt (that was the one we watched at the Booth's). It was pretty sad, but well done. I'm not very good at summarizing plots and giving good movie descriptions without giving away the whole story- so I'll leave you now. Have a great week.
This is a little off the subject, but has anyone ever heard of the Puritan Pirates that would attack the Spanish Armada? I would to find out more about them.

Hey...look, poetry, or maybe not.
