George Washington

When Washington was only 16 years old, he copied 110 rules of civility as a school exercise. Some of these rules, we would consider outdated. They evoke a more aristocratic and formal era. We are informal in the extreme, if these 110 rules are an indicator. You can find them here. If you haven't read them within the past month, read them now. Even with their "archaic" formalities, Washington's rules of civility apply amazingly well to us today.

It's always read, read, read with you Huntingtons. Can't you ever suggest the movie? How are you Courtney?
